Terms of Service
Effective October 13, 2026. These terms cover your use of LocalPins, including app.localpins.co and the LocalPins Connector WordPress plugin.
LocalPins is provided by Busy Bee Media, Inc. (“LocalPins”, “we”, “us”). By using LocalPins you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you use it for.
1. The service
LocalPins lets home-service businesses record completed jobs, publish them as map pins and service-area pages on their own website, post them to connected Google Business Profile and social accounts, and track how local search visibility changes. Features may change as we improve the service.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for the people you invite, for keeping sign-in details secure, and for activity in your account. Tell us promptly at support@localpins.co if you think your account has been misused.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the jobs, photos, text and other content you add. You give LocalPins permission to store, process and publish that content as needed to provide the service, for example on your website and in posts you schedule. You confirm that you have the right to share it, that job details are accurate, and that you have your customers' permission before sending them review requests.
4. Connected accounts
When you connect Google, Meta or another service, you authorise LocalPins to access it as described on the consent screen and in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms. You can disconnect at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use LocalPins to publish false or misleading jobs or reviews, to send unsolicited messages, to infringe anyone's rights, or to interfere with the service or other customers.
6. Payment
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, or as agreed with the agency that manages your account. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If payment fails, we may pause the account until it's resolved.
7. AI-assisted wording
LocalPins can suggest reworded job descriptions and page text based only on the details you entered. You review suggestions before they're used and remain responsible for what you publish.
8. Ending the service
You can stop using LocalPins at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. After closing, you can ask us to export or delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and liability
LocalPins is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee particular search rankings, traffic or results. To the extent the law allows, LocalPins isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
